Eryn Gowan grew up in Florida as the youngest of five siblings. Anxiety found her early. But instead of shrinking, she turned to stories. Reading became her refuge. Writing became her voice. What started as a childhood escape slowly transformed into a six-year journey of building one world, one story, and one unforgettable protagonist.
She writes what she knows from the inside out. Eryn holds degrees in Psychology as well as Human Development and Family Science. She spent years studying how people break and how they heal. That knowledge lives in every chapter of Genela Feniku. Her characters don’t just fight monsters. They fight panic attacks, survivor’s guilt, and the fear of trusting again.
Her family inspired her mission. Military veterans among her siblings. Her own struggles with mental health. The faces of people around her are fighting silent battles. Eryn wanted to build a story that says this out loud: you are not alone. Her writing gives voice to those who suffer in the shadows and offers hope to those who need it most.
She writes for the wounded, the weary, and the brave. When she isn’t crafting fantasy worlds, Eryn is learning, growing, and reminding readers that falling down is human. Getting back up is everything. Genela Feniku is her debut. It will not be her last.
